Mater is my heart horse. His mother Roan Bar Angle was a phenomenal barrel horse for me. I see her in him every day.
His sire needs no introduction as the great Dash Ta Fame. All of his babies are known for their natural talent in the barrel pen and their awesome disposition.
Mater was born with a massive infection though out his body due to an infection in his mother's birth canal and uterus. He fought all of the odds against him and lived.
He has become a great using horse for our ranch. My kids have fun riding him. He is in training to become the star barrel horse we all know he can be. With his drive to run and want to please I feel that he will be a force in the arena very soon.
We are currently riding his first foals that are now 2 year olds. They are super smart, quiet, very eager to learn and please. Their future looks very bright!

Angel was a once in a lifetime horse I had the opportunity to own. Raised by the Dejaegher's in Melstone MT. I got her as a scrawny yearling. I trained her myself and became the horse that I could only hope to have. She turned out to be a phenomenal barrel horse that won a little over $100,000 in her lifetime. Her love to run and do her job is in Mater.
